The center actively considers and integrates the cultural contexts, values,  practices, and needs of the diverse communities it serves into its policies, programs, and services. Being culturally responsive goes beyond simply  acknowledging cultural differences; it involves a commitment to  understanding, respecting, and effectively responding to those differences in  a way that is inclusive and supportive. Being culturally responsive allows the  center to provide more effective, respectful, and equitable services, leading to  better outcomes for autistic individuals across different cultural backgrounds.
