Since 2012, the Global Autism Project has been developing systems that respond to the need for quality autism services in underserved communities. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing culturally responsive and structured support, a checklist was developed to clearly define the necessary criteria for a “Center of Distinction.”

CLINICAL POLICIES AND PRACTICES
Standards for clinical practice, management, documentation, and ethical guidelines.
HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Recruitment, staff training, retention, HR policies, and staff wellness.
FINANCIAL CONDITION
Financial management, budgeting, reporting, and ethical financial practices.
PUBLIC PROFILE
Public engagement, professional community involvement, and mentorship.
OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
Efficient management of operations, emergency policies, and facilities.
